Meet Drew

Andrew E. Nelson joined the United States Marine Corps, knowing that he would return home equipped with the skills he needed to create change in his hometown.

He completed two combat tours, Iraq in 2008 and Afghanistan in 2012. After ten years of serving our country Andrew was honorably discharged.

After his success in the Marines, he began working for the Department of Veterans Affairs, as the Administrative Officer for the Washington Crossing National Cemetery complex. In that role, he managed the fiscal and administrative operations of all the national cemeteries in the tri-state metropolitan area.

His most recent role in consulting was as the administrative consultant for Municipal Solution, LLC., the municipal management firm for Yeadon Borough. In that role he and his 3 colleagues managed the staff and operations of the borough hall, as well as the economic development of the municipality. This included intimate management of the public works, code, finance, and administrative departments, and a collaboration with the public safety divisions.

Academically, he graduated from Pennsylvania State University with his B.S., and MBA from Fox School of Business at Temple University. Last but not least, He is the proud father of 3 amazing children, Amoni, Ariya, and Little Andrew.

One of Andrew’s favorite quotes which has inspired his work is by James Baldwin, “Not everything that is faced can be changed, but nothing can be changed until it is faced.
